Participants will learn tips and tricks about maintaining safety when taking prescription medications or when caring for someone who is taking prescription medications. The McHenry County Department of Health will highlight medication safety items that are available through their Community Resource program and will provide a training on how to respond to use naloxone (Narcan) in the event of an overdose from opioid pain management medications.
