Whether you are a new professional entering the field of dementia care, or someone that would like an in-depth program that not only meets the needs of your professional regulations, but will also develop skills that will assist you in your career in the field of dementia this program is a perfect fit! Learn or review stages of dementia, Allen Cognitive Scale, Communication skills and behaviors, that will give you insight into how to make a Person Living with Dementia live with dignity and grace. Look at a new perspective as we talk about not focusing on their disabilities but what they can do!

When participants successfully complete training delivered by a Certified Instructor, they will earn the DCC Specialist Credential, which formally recognizes their ability to apply the concepts of the Dementia Capable Care program.

To complete training and receive your specialist credential, your attendance at the entire program is imperative. Please plan accordingly.
