A Virtual Presentation

In this session you will learn the different types of elder abuse, how to recognize the signs, how it can happen inside a health care setting or within the person’s home. Understand the definition of abuse as defined by Centers for Medicare Services, and your role in reporting wherever the setting. We will also discuss the role of Adult protective Services in reporting abuse.
