Coffee and Conversation: A Support Group for Holocaust Survivors

Meets every Monday from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

This weekly support group for Holocaust survivors addresses the challenges of aging, health concerns, family, planning for the future, and more. Led by Yonit Hoffman, PhD, Holocaust Community Services at CJE SeniorLife.

Anxiety and Dementia

Many people diagnosed with dementia may also have been previously diagnosed with anxiety. This can further impact their behavior and how they interact with caregivers or other residents. During this presentation, Chris will discuss how to identify anxiety, how it may impact one’s life, and treatment options available.

$10.00 – 1.0 CE Credit will be awarded to Illinois nurses, social workers, professional counselors, and nursing home administrators. Payment may be made during registration.
