This class focuses on fall prevention for older adults by teaching simple, practical ways to stay safe and independent. We will cover why falls happen, common risk factors, and how to reduce them through safe footwear, home safety tips, exercise, and proper use of assistive devices. You’ll also learn what to do if a fall occurs and how to have a “Plan B” in place. The goal is to give you the tools and confidence to move safely, stay active, and lower your risk of injury.
