Evaluation of the Dizzy Patient

During this presentation, you will learn about a Physical Therapist’s evaluation of the “dizzy” patient. Kimberly will discuss signs, symptoms, treatments as well as expected trajectories when planning out care for the dizzy patient.

Kimberly (Kimi) is the Illinois Regional Vestibular and Concussion Coordinator for Athletico and has treated this patient population since 2012. She has her certificate in Vestibular Competency from Emory University, completed the Evidence in Motion Concussion Management Certification (CMC) Program, and is a proud member of VEDA (the Vestibular Disorders Association).

$5.00* – 1.0 CE Credit will be awarded to Illinois nurses, social workers, and professional counselors.

$10.00 – 1.0 CE Credit will be awarded to Occupational & Physical Therapists.

Join us to learn about how music is processed in the brain. Amanda will be discussing how music can influence memory and accessing memories. She will explain how trauma can impact an individual’s memory and how to recognize when it is occurring.
