Medicare Advantage is NOT part of Medicare. It's a private plan entirely. The plans seem cheaper or have more benefits, but do they? You must research the best plan for you and your spouse.  The Medicare Advantage plans don't cover more expensive care, they limit your options, and you may be reducing your ability to receive the care you need at a price you can afford. They are good for some people, but are they good for you?

 

Don't call 1-800 numbers for information on Medicare supplements or Medicare Advantage, talk with an actual insurance broker who offers choice. Get referrals and always do your due dilligence.
