he Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Program empowers consumers to prevent healthcare fraud. With volunteers and program staff, we help people with Medicare and Medicaid to Prevent, Detect, and Report Medicare & Medicaid fraud, waste, and abuse. The Administration for Community Living (ACL) provides funding to SMP programs in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands.

The Alzheimer's Association's goal is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Alzheimer's Association Care Navigators are licensed social workers who meet with individuals who are affected by Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias. We typically meet with caregivers, but can also meet with individuals who are diagnosed within the early stages of the disease. Care Navigators assist clients in identifying priority areas of concern, problem-solving, and developing a care plan. Sessions are based on a solutions-focused approach, and typically range from 1-3 appointments.
