BrightStar Care of Valparaiso

Alzheimer's Care

Home is where you feel most comfortable. And it’s where you want to be when you or a loved one need high-quality, compassionate care for your personal and medical needs.

What is In-Home Care?
Focused on helping you or your loved ones remain safe and independent in their familiar surroundings, in-home care includes professional services ranging from companionship to skilled nursing*.

Sometimes a loved one needs a little extra help with their day-to-day activities. At BrightStar® Home Care Valparaiso, our fully screened and certified care professionals assist our clients
with those daily tasks that require hands-on, personal support. This may include feeding, personal hygiene, moving about the room, getting in and out of chairs, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).

Personal Care Services
Our compassionate, local team offers a wide range of support such as:

Personal home safety evaluation
Outpatient pre- and post-op care

One of the most important roles our personal care aides provide is to observe and report any changes in your loved one’s condition to the BrightStar Home Care Valparaiso’s Director of Nursing, a Registered Nurse (RN).

In addition to the services listed above, our knowledgeable team has expertise in providing personal care for seniors that are experiencing memory loss and confusion due to Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia.
