Opened in early 2017, The Sheridan at Green Oaks provides inspired living for seniors in Green Oaks and its surrounding communities, such as Libertyville, Lake Bluff and North Chicago. They enjoy chef-prepared meals with friends in the elegant dining room, playing games in the living rooms, connecting with family in the internet cafe, getting creative in the art studio, and staying fit in the fitness center and physical therapy spaces. Outside the community, beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces are the perfect setting for a walk or a picnic. Residents and their families enjoy nearby shopping, exploring the Independence Grove Forest Preserve, visiting the Great Lakes Naval Training Center, and enjoying all that beautiful Green Oaks has to offer.
Our residents and residents’ families receive valuable peace of mind knowing that professional service staff are available 24 hours a day and we provide Quiet Care Wellness Monitoring to ensure real-time status updates, should your loved one need immediate help. We are near Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and Advocate Condell Medical Center. We provide transportation for all of your loved one’s medical appointments.
Prior to moving in, we speak with you and your physician to find just the right level of assistance that will allow you to enjoy your independence to the fullest. Together, we will compose an Individual Service Plan (ISP) to guide us in assisting you. We are here to help with medication reminders, special diet plans, shower assistance, dressing assistance, incontinence, and more as needed. The Sheridan at Green Oaks is proud to serve the community with its brand new Adult Day Program. This program is integrated with our residents who live in our memory care community. Also, we are excited about our partnership and to have Northwestern Medicine out of Lake Forest Hospital rehabilitation services onsite at The Sheridan. This program and continuity of care from Lake Forest Hospital adds great quality of care for our residents. Folks recovering from injury or illness can enjoy short-term or long-term respite stays in our Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Memory Care.
