The LGBTQ+ older adults continue to overcome obstacles as it relates to their sexual orientation and healthcare. In this presentation, Chris will go over
reasons why many in the LGBTQ+ elderly do not have access to healthcare and if they do, why they choose not to use it. She will also discuss what the healthcare
industry is doing to combat this discrimination.
