The new IDPH requirements, HB 158, Public Act 102-004, for dementia
training began January 2023. Attend this virtual presentation to meet the
requirements. Chris Petrik will discuss the signs, symptoms, diagnosis
criteria, and assessments for Alzheimer’s disease and other types of
Dementia. Attendees will learn the most common forms of Dementia, how
they are treated, effective communication strategies for engaging with a
person living with Dementia.

$10.00 fee includes 1.50 CE Credits for Illinois nurses, social workers, professional
counselors, and nursing home administrators. $8.00 additional fee for other
professions such as physicians, physical therapist, occupational therapist, respiratory therapist, physician assistants, podiatrists, clinical psychologist, optometrist, and counselors who will also receive 1.50 CE Credits.
