When a person with Dementia is admitted to an acute care hospital, the person may exhibit behaviors due to a variety of reasons. Chris will discuss the possible causes and effects of those behaviors. She will identify ways that staff may respond to behaviors exhibited by a person living with Dementia. Chris will go over the importance of transitional information, reports, and assessments when the person with Dementia leaves the acute care hospital.
