An In-Person Professional Event
When a person with Dementia is admitted at an acute care hospital, behaviors may be exhibited by that person due to a variety of reasons. Chris will discuss the possible causes and effects of these behaviors. She will identify ways that the hospital staff and skilled care staff may respond to behaviors exhibited by a person with Dementia. Chris will also go over the importance of transitional information, reports, and assessments when the person with Dementia leaves the acute care hospital.
