When we or someone we love is diagnosed with a serious illness, it can be a scary
and confusing time. We often avoid thinking about these situations until we have to
because it can be overwhelming. Maureen Burns from The HAP Foundation will
help explain the different kinds of support available and how to access care when
needed. Learn about palliative care and how it can help at any stage of a serious
illness. Learn about holistic hospice care for those facing end-of-life, even when
cures fail, there is still much that can be done to support patients and their families. You don’t have to face a serious illness alone!
