Frequently, comorbid conditions exist with dementia, and treating both properly can be a balancing act. In this program Chris will discuss medical management for these medical conditions, and what medicinal interventions are recommended for dementia. Also discussed will be medications that could cause danger to those living with dementia. Chris will go over medications for the cognitive symptoms of dementia, pharmacological management of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.
