Dementia Reality is an innovative program that utilizes virtual reality technology and creates an immersive experience to help dementia-care professionals tap into their innate empathy by connecting logical understanding to compassionate realization. Participants learn that individuals living with dementia retain their core self and that this disease doesn’t define a person. The program shows practical
ways to engage patients with dignity and respect, while supporting everyone’s sense of self-worth.
