The new IDPH requirements, HB 158, Public Act 102-004, for dementia training begin in 2023. Attend this in-person presentation to meet the requirements. Chris Petrik will discuss the signs, symptoms, diagnosis criteria, and assessments for Alzheimer’s disease and other types of Dementia. Attendees will learn the most common forms of Dementia, how they are treated, effective communication strategies for engaging with a person living with Dementia.
