During this program, Chris will be discussing the causes, stages, treatment, and discharge planning involved with COPD. She will identify the different types of COPD, and how it can cause anxiety for someone living with it. From the perspective of the healthcare provider, she will address some discharge planning points and issues. From the viewpoint of the caregiver, she will discuss how to plan a seamless transition from hospital to home.

For $10.00* – 1.0 CE Credit will be awarded to Illinois nurses, social workers, professional counselors and nursing home administrators. Payment may be made at registration.
