This support group meets the third Wednesday of each month.
Barrington Area Council on Aging’s Memory Café provides a free social get-together for individuals with early-stage memory loss and their care partners.
Socialization for those with mild or early stage memory loss improves quality of life and enables those struggling with dementia and other cognitive-related issues to meaningfully engage in life. Care partners also are invited to participate and can develop a new and profound relationship with their ill loved one.
Cost is FREE but registration is required. Meeting time is the
third Wednesday of every month from 10 a.m.-12 noon.
Activities may include:
Art and crafts, pet therapy, massage therapy, movement and dance, easy yoga, music therapy, lectures
