Cultural Diversity in Dementia Care

An altitude of cultural humility and cultural competence is helpful when working with a diverse population and shows that “one size” does not fit all. In this program we will discuss the importance of addressing diversity among those living with dementia, and how their cultural past may influence how they live in their new world.

A $20.00 fee is requested prior to the date of the event. An invoice will be emailed after registration. Please make checks payable to Elderwerks Educational Services, a 501C3 not-for-profit corporation and mail to 251 E. Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067. To pay via credit card, please follow the link included in the invoice to pay online.
This program awards 1.0 Ethics/Cultural Competency CE CREDIT to Illinois nurses, professional counselors, social workers and nursing home administrators.
