This presentation will review rights and responsibilities of an agent under power of attorney including those that the agent doesn’t have; provide guidance on the guardianship process and the role, authority, and powers of a guardian; provide information on legal safeguards that can be put in place by clients to protect from neglect, abuse, and financial exploitation.
