An assisted living facility offers people the best of both worlds by providing them with care and assistance as necessary while allowing them to continue to live as independently as possible. Our standing as an Illinois-licensed memory care unit ensures our staff employs innovative approaches to help you with cognitive challenges.

Champion for dementia friendly neighborhood
We are proud to be part of the first official “Dementia Friendly Neighborhood” in Chicago and grateful to the organizations that lead this thoughtful collaboration: Chicago Hyde Park Village, SHARE Network and The Memory Center at University of Chicago Medicine.

Short-Term Rehabilitation
Independent LivingYour independence is our goal so you can return home as quickly – and safely – as possible. Our team of physical, occupational and speech therapists will help you overcome challenges resulting from a medical incident or surgery. Most rehab services are covered by Medicare or insurance. We provide convenient complimentary parking. We also can arrange transportation to help you take full advantage of your therapy regime.

We teach you how to regain your strength and balance and to use adaptive aids. If appropriate, we work with you to improve your speech clarity and exercise key muscles to do so. We also equip you with a daily regime and tips to maintain all the progress you make with our team of therapists at Montgomery Place.

Outpatient Rehab
After a medical procedure or incident, your recovery begins at Montgomery Place. But after you get home, you can sustain your progress with regular visits for outpatient therapy. You’ll work with the same specialists who facilitated your initial recovery. They’ll help you build on your accomplishments by instilling good habits, including daily exercise.
